secrets ≠ friends

I've learned that most of you have secrets. Secrets are never good things to keep. They hurt people, and make those who have to keep them feel anxious and sad. Since we're all around each other all the time, I think it would be best if none of us had any secrets between each other. It'll make it easier for us to all get along, and we'll all feel better by sharing! ♥ So everyone...

I haven't told anyone the way I died.

There was this guy, D.J. Pratt. He was a rapist, and there wasn't sufficient evidence to bring him in on for the first case. Then he raped someone I knew, but he kept slipping out of our grasp. I considered planting evidence so we could nail him, but couldn't bring myself to do it. (I know it was unprofessional for me to even think that in the first place, and I regret it.) My supervisor found out and I got fired.

But I kept trying to find something to take him down with, following him and seeing what he did, even though I wasn't a CSI working for Mac anymore. Then one day, Pratt set me up in a trap and ambushed me. He beat me up, and I tried my best to leave some evidence behind, hoping to God that my former team would find me and be able to get him. He ended up setting the car on fire... and that's all I remember.

I died once, too. It feels strange remembering it, yes.
