You'd be surprised. Protection and healing spells, to me at least, take a bit more effort than destructive spells.

Though I suppose that could be because I'm not used to casting them. Different magic, I guess.

Well, I've been able to use it all my life, but I didn't really need to use it very much until I met my friends!

Well, kinda... my grandpa taught me about my potential magic and summoning abilities. But he died when I was five.
